Description
I modeled this scene in Max4.2 and used the scanline renderer.I could see no way to scan an actual battery for texture so I had to make the battery material in photoshop by hand. For such a simply scene,it took forever to get right.Let me know what you think.C&C welcome. Thanks for taking a look,Chris

Very cool. Great work! :)

For me, the Duracell batteries could be more shiny. The paper on them seems to be very smooth and giving it a stronger, narrow specular could improve this nice image.

This is some fantastic work.Excellent modeling,I think the textures are damn perfect.I've got a Duracell battery right here, and this looks exactly the same.I think you got the gloss and specular levels right on.Great use of a relection map to add to the realism.I don't know what the guy above thinks you could improve on.Unless the DOP is throwing him off.In that case it has nothing to do with the shaders.Great lighting,DOP,and POV as well.Awesome Work!Vote for sure.

Great job. I know how much work that goes it to making custom bitmaps and getting them to map right.
