There are so many goddessess, fantasy & folklore characters, I'm not sure who this is...so I will call her "Mother Nature". Her countenance is most interesting. She is not one to be sentimental about her realm. No she is confident and detached in a way, like a protectoress of all in nature. She keeps things in balance. Wonderful painting with colors so pleasing to the eye. I believe I see rain falling from her crown, and I also see a small iconographic figure or two. Your composition and design are rich and harmonious. Excellent work of art Niek. V
