Description

We rescued this little guy who was caught between Caspers paws & jaws. I shouldn't say 'we'. It was Danielle. I ran for the camera. *LOL* Don't think for a minute I enjoy seeing our cats catch these poor little creatures; it tears me up inside. I honestly didn't think he would make it. As I clicked away on my Nikon, she was scolding me not to take his picture ... that right now he needed love and care -- not his portrait taken. (Sorry Dani ..) Miracles either happen, or Dani performed magic. Because 10 minutes later, if even that, she came running out of her room excitedly saying "He can fly!!!" With all our cats inside, We ran outside with it ... she held it in her little hand like you see here, and sure enough ... she flew away. Ohhhh what a site! Unfortunately he did lose one eye ... I nudged her and said "Aren't you glad I got got some pictures of him?" :))))) She just smiled and rolled her eyes ... lol Have a glorious Day ................. Shari

So adorable. The pic AND the story! It looks like some songbird, like a wren. My daughter rescued a mole from her cat's "jaws of death" so I know this situation well. LOL. Very sweet shot, Shari! :0)

Great story of survival!Wonderful shot as well!Don't take this personnaly, but i just don't care for those four legged creatures for this particular reason ,we all have to live i guess! They are predators,it's in their nature to hunt!Just glad to see this lil fellow make it back in his little world ! I bet that he'll keep an eye out for cats next time ! Just kidding !i'm sorry, i just had to say it!:)Have a great day my friend!:)
