Dear Visitor,I've joint Renderosity in Sept. 2002, while being active for several year I have made a lot of wonderful friends here and I'm still in contact with a few of them. Was elected for AOM in July 2004. Well, since I am Site Administrator on Photo-Genesis my time is just too limited for being active on RR. I just drop in once in a while to say hello to my friends which I miss! If you want to know more about me... the interview I've done for R'osity in July 2004 is to be seen here Feel free to also visit my personal website  Monika Wolf Photography

Ein Bild sagt so oft mehr als tausend Worte ... meine Gedanken und Hoffnungen sind bei den Menschen dort.

as terrible as it was New Orleans was a time bomb waiting to go off. with most of the city being below sea level they was on borrowed time and I think everyone living there knew it. What to me really stinks is the administration's dragging their butt to get the personnel in the city to take control and prevent further loss of lifes. sorry, I did not mean to go off on your very touching image and dedication Monika. Mexico city is another time bomb. if enough rain falls there there will be 100,000's lose their lifes because the city is sinking into the lake bed it was built on

i'm not sure what to say. this is a very touching tribute and the only one i've seen. that is very much appreciated dear Moni. (i've not been on the computer much these last few days so there may have been many i didn't see. i don't want to slight anyone if they have indeed posted tributes.) very touching as Kimmie said. thank you.

We are all horrified here with what has happened in the path of destruction of Katrina. We are even more horrified of the disasters that followed. You can be assured we are praying for the victims in our household. Thank you so much for this tribute.

Monika, truly a most beautiful tribute! I have not heard about the death toll yet. It saddens my heart that this has happened. I have seen the love that Americans have for each other in the time of need and I am so proud to say I am an American. I can only hope that they will see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know it will affect them for a very long time. Absolutely a wonderful image!

A marvelous tribute. Yes, there is always hope if we trust in God.

Such a terrrible thing to happen, so soon too after the Tsunami near here, Nature is so strange, it gives life it takes life and no place escapes, a wonderful tribute to a most awful event, and we see every day the pics on tv. it seems to get more bad from one day to next. Why is that, where is help? My mind does not understand, money for wars, but not for these kind of things? Shame!. V Lina

Bravo!!!
