Nice image. Carrara is an under-appreciated application for its capabilities. The grip on this revolver looks a bit too 'plastic' if wood was the look you were going for. If plastic or rubber was the intention, then black would look more realistic. Also, the bullets in the cartridges are a bit too reddish and pointy. A copper or gray lead color might be better. As a suggestion, put a paper target in the background with some tightly grouped bullet holes and maybe a box of .357 cartridges.

Fantastic modelling! I agree with Qarl's comments. See my gallery for bullet reference. The font on the barrel is wrong- it looks like a computer system font, as opposed to what you would see on a Colt Python. The trigger and hammer spur need grooves/machining. Still a great job though! To add some real drama to this pic, add a wisp of smoke rising from the barrel...

Excellent work. Very well made and lit even if not 100% accurate.

An amazing feat. I have held a small frame nickel plated Colt Python .44 magnum in my left hand. It terminated the larger frame blued .44 Magnum a former Air Force armorer from Luke AFB put in my right hand to shoot at targets in the desert. The local police got brand new semi-autos that day. Smith and Wesson made some very fine ID kits. My neighbor up the street here even had a t-shirt with their credo on the back. My cousin uses his .44 to hunt dear and pheasants. He's a dentist with a Doc Holiday bent.
