Description

I've taken this shot sunday morning, in the gardens arround the Abbay of Thoronet, in the Var region in South of France. Photograph made with my Nikon D70S with a Nikor 18-70 mm lens and a filter Infrared (Cokin). The effect of frame is made with the program Nik Color Efex Pro and the filter "vignette". It's my first serie of infrared shots.... I love the effect of this filter, but it's not so easy to use ! I went there with Christophe, (Chrysalide and thesymphonieoflive on Renderosity) for some beautiful hours of photography together in this wonderful place. effectivement bel effet d'ir en digital. Mais ne te plains pas; avant de commencer la cession tu devais penser te munir d'un frigo, ce genre de film ne supporte pas la chaleur. Et les meilleurs effets sont obtenus avec des objets rlhissants un maximum de soleil donc de chaleur...

It seems IF is in. I like the effect achieved. You have maintained to hold detail in the highlights and that is most wonderful. It appears fro Sheila's tries and your comments, that IF in digital mode appears more difficult than with Film as I have used it almost 25 years ago. However you appear on the right track and with several more tries will soon be instructing us on how to go about IF with a digital camera.

How gorgeous!!! I use the same infared filter...Cokin...very difficult to shoot in infared but you did great!!! Keep up the great work & can't wait to see more!
