Description
Since he was 7 weeks old, Loki's been the light of my life and my best friend. When I go to bed, he hops up on the bed and snuggles and then goes and either lays at the foot of the bed or on the floor by my side. On Friday he went to the vet and it wasn't good news. The vet doesn't think he can fix what's wrong with him and I've spent the weekend just being with him and trying to spend as much time as possible with him before he leaves me. We're going back to the vet today or tomorrow to see if anything can be done but I'm steeled for the worst.
My apologies to all my friends and those who have posted images I haven't commented on but until this is over one way or another I will probably not be around much. I promise I will get to them eventually but right now all I can think of is him. *hugz*

Oh boy i know what you feel hope that the vet can do something for Loki No idea how old he or she is but as i look to the left eye i think she has also stiff on the eye the same as my poodle from 15 year Jenny wish you much wisdom it does pain as a very good friend most leave you , but let himher not having unnecessary much pain as there is not more hope for a reasonble life !! I understand completely. Seems like my best friend has been on the edge for a couple of years now, I'm never sure what's going on. It's really heartbreaking to be in this position and my heart goes out to you. He looks really happy in this shot and I'm sure he just loves you to pieces. Hang in there girl!

But think of it this way, you gave Loki many good years that he might not have had in another home, I'm very sure he loves you for and appreciates it. They know more than we give them credit for, and to not have to suffer can be a good thing. Funny, when I cry for losing the ones I love, I know I cry for me and my void, not for them as they are in a better place. ~Big hugs~
