the Northern California coast has a rugged beauty of its own. this was taken at Patrick Point State Park about 50 miles south of the Oregon border

its offical name is Patrick Point Rock, but so many weddings are performed there that it is nick-named "Wedding Rock".

the official name is Patrick's Point Rock, but since so many couples get married on the rock, it has been nik-named "Wedding Rock". while we were there we met a wedding party coming up to the rock as we were coming down. they had about 100 people there. if you look real close you can see a walled area on the left side of the rock where the weddings take place.
