My last try with overlays WM 1.0 terrain, texture from mayang. Please tell me what I did right or wrong...Thanks for all the previous comments in my last work.

I cannot tell what you did wrong, only what I'd have done differently: The strata! I'd soften them by adding a (few) child layers(s) with fractal noise slider in the left region and a greyish or yellowish colour.

yes i love this surface - goes well with the terrain - possibly need a few more bumps in the terrain to show the strata off!!
