Hello ! Back to my Michigan shots... i took allot of lighthouse shots i hope you are not getting tired of them .. but, i can't help it i love this lighthouse. IT was a magical place for me when I was a child. and still is and it was the first time I had seen it in many years.. This shot was from the grassy dunes .. I layed down in the tall grasses.. the one reed bending over was natural - I didn't prop it like that... I was attempting here to get a feel of laying down on the soft sand and seeing as you would from a distance in the grasses as if on a picnic.. for some reason I am drawn to this one... you can see the light house again faroff...next to a dropping sun. What a wonderful summer day that was wish i could go back to it right now.. that is the SPECTACULAR thing about photography it brings you right back add a smell and your almost there..!! Superb Kim. What a beautiful picture ! This place seems really wonderful. I love the colors, I love the POV, I love the perspective (BTW I love everything on it !). And I can imagine the picture of you taking this one. It could be very funny... Sometimes, when taking pictures, people look at us as we were aliens. But when they see the result, they usually have a lot of admiration... That what makes difference between a common picture and a artistic one. And this one is a real artistic one. So keep one showing us the places you love, so we can dream with you. (oh my god, what a comment...). Huggs ;0))
