Great effort. When you are starting out, it's probably a good idea to have your primary lighting from the front (ie. have you main light source a bit above the camera) - rather than from the side. You can also stick a filler light right at the camera (at about 40% intensity).

I would have to disagree w/ the lighting tip, every situation is different. The lighting you did use gives the scene a realness that only natural sunlight provides. I look forward to your future works.
