The demon king K'tok has become infatuated with the lovely Princess Yatana, showering her with gifts and jewels as tokens of his intentions of proposing marriage. Yatana has no intention of marrying K'tok as she is already betrothed to her true beloved, Prince Calel. Her rejection of K'tok's advances have both infuriated him and fueled his obsession for her. He has declared that Yatana will be his even if he has to kill the young prince in a duel. Yatana has no doubts of Calel's skill and power in a battle with any man. But can he defeat the King of the Demons? She spends the last night before the battle pondering her situation and fervently praying for her beloved.
