Reminds me of the Madonnas that populate Portugal. I like the double-pillars in the back. The Japaneese call the double-pillars a "torii," a sacred, holy gate, which oddly enough was used on the ancient Jewish temple. The two pillars had names: "boaz" and "jachin." It was a sacred portal to heaven, much like you have depicted here, as if the angel has just steppin into our world.

I haven't visited your gallery in a while but I see the quality of your art hasn't gone down any. This is oustanding work. The colors blend perfectly together and the dress has folds that draw your eye into the picture and give you the feeling that she is standing in a way that isn't posed but very natural.
