Description

I dedicate this to "Rayburg" who always shares with us his excellent imagination and talented work. This statue is in In Pioneer Plaza in downtown Dallas, the world's largest bronze sculpture of its kind depicts a cattle drive of 3 cowboys and 50 steers. Each piece was created by artist Robert Summers of Glen Rose, TX. The sculpture is on the site of the Shawnee Trail, which was a popular cattle drive trail in the 1850s. http://www.uncommondays.com/states/tx/places/cattledrive.htm thanks for viewing and comments

WOW, i'm just stunned by imposing character, Richard.....all his history carved upon his face to have us ponder on the power of his time.....All is dramatically plain to see, my dear friend, the feelings of the heart and how hard is the way to go......SPLENDID ECHO OF THE TIME......VV.......Hugs, my pal, Guillaume.

looks like he's beating more than a storm..it's quite a simple thing i like about this photo...the STRENGTH it shows, its dynamic...and the face of the statue is so expressive and ...'justified' in his purpose.
