Description

Hello everyone! Some of you might remember this image from my "Are you on crack, Woman?" post in the Photography Forum, but, as you can see, I decided to post the original photo without all the funky filters. :) I like how the background seems rather abstract.. I'm sure Zacko will like how it looks kind of like mist. :) I also like the colors of the leaves. The one part I don't like is that the flowers themselves are a bit too bright...all the details are lost. But I guess that isn't the most crucial part of the picture anyway. I'm calling it "Water Mint" because it was growing in the water and the leaves smell distinctly like mint, although, really, I have no idea what it is. :) I hope you like it, however!

the washed out areas are too small to really spoil the image - well seen anyway...

I think it's pretty. The colors and the clarity are exceptional. Nice shot!

Hey, i loved what you did with your postwork, but the original stands on its own just fine. Gorgeous stuff and the bright flowers add to it for me. =]

fantastic shot i see nothing wrong with it , for me post work makes a picture always less authentic unless you do a total collage and the parts become a new artwork.

To me it seems as though it's growing "on the edge of the world." The overall impression is very dramatic. The color range is perfect - not too dynamic, but interesting and balanced. Very, very nice!

Ahh, love 'em! They smell special (take a leaf and smell it) and they're beautiful decorations on watersides! Original POV!

Having seen them both now I think I like this original better. The other (postworked) one was very cool but this picture has beaucoup coolness already. The misty melting background really adds to the atmosphere and the POV is great. Love it!
