I am a 30-year old American woman, married to a Portugese man, and we live happily together in Brussels, Belgium. My husband bought me my Canon IXUS 530 for Christmas three years ago, and thus a new hobby was born. Since then, I have also used a Fujifilm S9000, and received my first DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 40D for my 30th birthday.
I have a BA in World Religions and East Asian Studies. My other interests include crochet, role-playing, cats, language studies, poetry, cooking, collecting prayer beads, and so much more. I have found the Renderosity community to be a delightfully warm and helpful group of people. With your continued support, I am learning more every day. the washed out areas are too small to really spoil the image - well seen anyway...

I think it's pretty. The colors and the clarity are exceptional. Nice shot!

Hey, i loved what you did with your postwork, but the original stands on its own just fine. Gorgeous stuff and the bright flowers add to it for me. =]

fantastic shot i see nothing wrong with it , for me post work makes a picture always less authentic unless you do a total collage and the parts become a new artwork.

To me it seems as though it's growing "on the edge of the world." The overall impression is very dramatic. The color range is perfect - not too dynamic, but interesting and balanced. Very, very nice!

Ahh, love 'em! They smell special (take a leaf and smell it) and they're beautiful decorations on watersides! Original POV!

Having seen them both now I think I like this original better. The other (postworked) one was very cool but this picture has beaucoup coolness already. The misty melting background really adds to the atmosphere and the POV is great. Love it!

Both are really good. Granted I do like originals. Still going with my thoughts that it looks like the world is behind it.Very good eye to see this.Impressed!
