BIOI was born in the 1950's in Tennessee, and have been here ever since. I like the blues, rock and roll, and a little bit of everything else; I also play guitar (badly). I have worked in about every medium there is, but almost stopped all traditional work when I discovered computer art. In 1986 (can't believe it was that long ago), I bought an Amiga 500 (remember them?). I used a paint program called Deluxe Paint and the first 3D program I used was called Silver- upgraded to Turbo Silver (no, really!) and the program eventually became Imagine. I switched over to the IBM PC compatable in 1995, because the capabilities finally eclipsed those of the Amiga. I now use Bryce, Poser and Photoshop Elements. In art, as in music, I like a little of everything, so I usually surf All Galleries. I recommend this to everyone, because if you limit your vision to only Poser gallery, only Bryce, etc., you may find that you are repeating yourself in your art. Shake it up, and render on!

This is a stunning portrait and tribute to Gilligan.Vote. :o) CC

Very warm render and nicely done. I too am a fan of the show and yes it was silly and there were a million different ways that they could have gotten off of that island, but that was what made it so funny. Somewhere up on a deserted island in the sky Rob Denver is looking down at this portrait and smiling...and listening to that little white radio that never ran out of batteries. LOL!

Gilligan's Island has never been shown where I live - I've never even heard about it... But you always make wonderful portraits :)

More people around the world know the theme song to Gilligan's Island then any other TV show theme song so that tells you how many people all over the world loved Gilligan's Island. I too grew up watching Gilligan's Island and can still watch it and loving seeing the reruns. Very nice tribute to are little buddy Gilligan.

I was a fan of his from his debut role as beatnik Mayanrd G Krebs on "The Lives and Loves of Dobie Gillis." Heck, I used to even watch "Far Out Space Nuts" because of him. (BTW, Russell Johnson's theory on why The Professor was unable to get them off the island was that HE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE, being the only available male on the island.)

A great tribute to a man whose willingness to be a clown for all of us made millions laugh for decades.

This is the first time I've really gotten a sense of Bob Denver the man, not just 'Gilligan.' Well done.
