Hello, Krid, this is a fantastic tribute. I love the atmosphere and it makes me feel sad to all that was lost. Now about those bible thumping idiots who claim that it was right to destory it. They are all brainwashed. LOL I don't think God wants to destory anything and loves all of us. Don't they believe in forgiveness and absolution? I think every single one of us have committed sins and no one can say anything and if anything is evil it should be Las Vegas. (Just kidding) But it agrivates me that people use God and Jesus for their own agenda and propiganda. Anyway, all those people in New Orleans and Mississippi have my prayers and I believe there's a multidude of angels working miricales, every hour, minutes and moment! Hugs Maria (Sorry I got on a tangent.) Oh, and I love this image!!

Like most of them didn't have it bad to begin with, nature had to go and throw them a kick between the legs. Well, perhaps some good may come out of this tragedy, with rebuilding and relocating and such. Too many people lost their lives to what I believe to be negligence and greed, but something postive must be made from it. Excellent render.

This sets the perfect atmosphere for the blues. You can almost hear the music and smell the smoke. I have been to New Orleans only once and for one day. It was a lovely place. It will be once again. I can not understand why people would say what they say, but God loves each one of us. Yes he allows trail and tribulation, but I do not believe He did it for that reason. I could be a wake up call for something else. We do not know. Your image is a beautiful tribute to a wonderfully rich place and will be so again.

Lovely tribute. In addition to the human tragedy, the loss of history and culture are heartbreaking.

I'm an R.N. working with the Katrina survivors at a facility in Alton Illinois on my days off. I loved your picture. I copied it along with several others who had pictures dedicated to them. I then placed them all on a huge bulletin board in one of their central locations where they gather. I included a sign that said these were from computer graphic artists who created them in honor of the victims. So....your wonderful work will be seen by many of them. There are 150 of them there now and they will get a second wave of them in as soon as these people find more permanent places to stay. The majority of these people are African American and they will certainly love this picture.
