Well, not everything was about the cavalcade for the Fringe Festival. There was a lot of people along the Royal Mile. This guy, for instance, who posed for tourists dressed like... aaah, you know...

One of the interesting things about "Waod Face" is that if you use real woad, the dye lasts a long time ... OTOH since it masks the sunlight, he will get a "selective" sun tan. ... and will also get quite a few comments about his patchwork face the next time he is at work. I'll explain "Bodice Burn" later.
