Specimen 15 - Arcturus Expedition
Archives of The Museum of Man
(Despite exhaustive searches of the Museum's fragmentary catalog system, researchers have been unable to determine the planetary system where these specimens were collected.)
Container modelled in Carrara. The Specimen is an Apophysis flame mapped to a Bryce object. Textures and render in Bryce 5.5, using Gammachef's "True Ambience" lighting technique.

I really like this idea. I can get into the antiquated form of the container and the fact that it holds an alien life form. It's genius! The lighting is superb as well. I need to try that technique soon!
