Description

While I am walking through the alpine meadows I see many blooming black vanilla orchids (Nigritella nigra). They're usually small (up to 15 cm, 6 inches) but I am glad to find a few that look really great! Time for me to kneel down! A closer look reveals the purple and with enough light the color becomes a deep vibrant purple.
