Description

This really is a mixed medium piece. I made armatures from aluminum wire and foil, covered it with a mixture of Super Sculpey and Promat clays, and sculpted it with tools I made from old files. I then cut it apart to mold it, cast it with two part urethane resin, and assembled the cast pieces. Then painted it using airbrushes, transparent washes, and drybrush techniques. I took photos with my Nikon digital camera, did some tweaking with Photoshop, made the background with Zbrush, and the main title block with a demo of RealDraw Pro.
