Description

One of my first scenes created using Vue 4. I wanted to create a natural, believable desert scene using cactus and weeds. Turned out a little darker than I expected! The image on the left was rendered entirely in Vue. The image on the right was altered slightly using Picasa. I've added a bit more light and a "glow" effect to make the picture a little softer. Which do you think looks better? Suggestions anyone? Cheers, Jazza

I prefer the darker one. A question about realism: is there so much weeds in the desert ?

Thanks for the comments guys. In response to your question jmherve, I too thought I made the bush a bit too thick. But this was loosely based on a real photo that had thick weeds that were almost as tall as the cacti! Is the vegetation a bit too much? Hope you can get back to me.
