Description

Trying to get Caustics figured out. Looked fine before I Rendered it for the final, then the shore caustics seem to have been washed away - no pun intended. Thanks for the generous comments on my last few pics. Kept me happy while I was playing.

Very Cool; Maybe the island could use more green layers to it; really nice job.

Nice POV, excellent blue water, agree with majikart about the green layers, try to add more Bumpiness and increase Fractal noise also a yellow green layer or two may give some interesting result.

I agree with the green on the island. It kind of slipped to the back when I was working on the water. I will try to get away from my boys long enough to actually complete a decent pic. Don't think I've done that in awhile.

The boys are more important. :~) A beautiful point of view, lovely sky and excellent water- love the ways it changes color as it nears the shore, and I like the entire stretch of island terrain. I do agree re the surface, but you don't need alot of bump..a little bump and lots of color layers and experimentation; 3 or 4 children for each color or variation of color. BTW, that's a pretty decent wet sand in the foreground. Excellent work, Jim.

This is beautiful, most especially the water color! That color is incredible! Very nice picture overall, and I love the texture you put on the mountain--that's great!
