This is really a beautiful piece of art. How did you achieve the comet? Background image I imagine but it works great with the scene.

Thank you. yes, the comet is a backround image. I used Axion's "lens flare" filter for the comet head, then used the "smear" tool in PaintShopPro to make the tail.

This ship does look a lot like the The Comet (the anime rendition, anyway), the spaceship of pulp fiction hero Captain Future. Love your work and always looking forward to more.
