thanks for the comments guys n gals.... she was only about half an inch long....... if you look on her right side you'll see she's lost a leg in the past............ the second one is a regeneration :)

thanks for the comments guys n gals erskogly, the background wasn't actually black........ it turns out that way due to using flash with a very low aperture value f/22...... the light bounces from the close spider and manages to squeeze thru the iris becasue it has a short wavelength.......... the light bounced from the background has a long wavelength and can't get into the lens..... so it's black
