I approached my mind once and asked is there such a thing as memory or does the store always refresh and make dilligent clones. This was non-trivial as I had lost my magnetic cores and magnetic tapes were threatened as semiconductor chips and laser discs climbed out of obscurity. I evolved a concept that the mind made copies as one fell asleep leading to almost hypnotic cutouts in the bright sun of the next morning. I noticed at last how the bushes loomed out from the trees in hues and values that was as crisp as those popup carboard relief scenes. Your angel is more subdued and blends into the shadow.
