Days had passed since the young elf used the last of her water, even longer still since she had been separated from her party. Fatigue and thirst only fueled the fury that kept her moving, hoping to find the way out of the crypts that she was lost in. She was near desperation for fresh air and nourishment when she heard a sound behind her. She turned quickly to find herself confronted by the sight of two hobgoblins. She hesitated, debating whether to flee or fight. If she chose to fight, which target first? She noticed then that one of them carried a waterskin tied to his belt.
