Description

I've bought myself a new PC which is a full ATX case, black, with lots of glowly green LED's. It's become affectionately known as "The Beast" in the house now because of its size, and the noise which the fans make... As such I wanted a background image which suited its personality, and went browsing the gallery the other day to find one, and couldn't find something that fitted what I was looking for, so I spent a couple of hours knocking this one up at the weekend :D What I was looking for was a slobbering, roaring nightmare of a creature that was launching itself out of the darkness, which you catch out of the corner of your eye and turn just in time to get *this* as your last view... It's not perfect (I think with more time I'd've flattened the head more, widen'd the muzzle, fixed the teeth so they didn't need post render work & so on), and it's VERY dark because I'm using a backlit LCD screen here, so everythings a lot lighter. I'll post a lightened version, if anyone is interested (and can't be bothered to adjust the brightness levels themselves *LOL*). My first render in a while, and I'm more pleased with it than I have any right to be, so I thought I'd share ;) I used the Werewolf.pz3 file from Scott (The Hollow Men?) with some tweaking to make the neck / body join slightly better, and that's about it. Some new colouring to make it work better in Poser 5, and changed the eye colour (something I'm not sure on now, but wanted it to match the machine ;)). Fur, teeth & slobber added in PhotoShop 6.0, post rendering... This is the lightened image BTW, as when I got to work this afternoon and saw it on a CRT, I couldn't see anything except the eyes in the image :P
