a crop at full resolution of the same hoverfly i posted yesterday (in flight).. the inset image at the bottom (and thumbnail) is the photo the crop came from.. check out its extra 3 eyes on the top of its head :)....

The pastel hues add an ethereal touch to this macro. There's beauty in nature, regardless of scale... it just takes a good eye, a steady hand and a bit of patience to capture the details. Well done, sir. :o)
