Description

Gran Lil sat listening to her granddaughter,Roni, chatter. "I had to go to the doctor yesterday. My arms and legs are all achy and I feel sick. Momma said you and Great Grean are sick too. Do you have what I've got?" "Hmm, well it's possible. A virus is going around. We have achy arms and legs too. And one minute I feel so cold, the next I'm all hot." Gran Lil answered in a tired voice. "Gee Gran, that's what I've got! I've got the hot flashes." With that Gran Lil quickly hid a grin. It was plain to see, Roni was watching too many commercials. This is a conversation that actually took place between me and my 7 yr. old granddaughter a few weeks ago. Out of the mouths of babes.
