The array of colors and light are great! Wonderful work. In regards to your question, I'm not sure where the "line of demarcation" lies, or how much postwork is "allowed." But then, it's the image we all comment on, not the tools!

well 3 and a half years later, I give my own answer, it's photography but not 'traditional' photography; it's art using photographic images as the base, but which does many things with that base. It's not solely 'camera' photography...(You may know some of the superb photo-manipulation artists here...Nikolais certainly comes to mind, and there are others...) I can see a connection between this and your "trees 1", because both have print-like qualities, and both explore organic process/light & dark/organic texture, etc etc, through the medium of actual plants. Your blues are a fine contrast—this is an airy shot for all its detail—and that flying thing? Well, whatever it is, it's fun! I know I haven't gotten to your later work yet, but I'm kind of skipping around and getting a feel...you have a deep eye for process & organic line, I imagine you have many works at home of this nature. I think you do this with real insight...
