Description

This photograph was taken last spring (October 2004) when my friends and I went fishing to the Salada Grande lagoon. Fortunately the storm arrived only late in the afternoon. Hope you like the picture I took from the fishing boat. Photo with Canon EOS D300.

I like the way you've caught the contrast between the bright blue sky in the foreground and the impending storm in the distance - creates great atmosphere. Excellent perspective too.

For those who wanted to know, this lagoon is located in the Buenos Aires province in Argentina. The lagoon has these sort of channels across the vegetation and we had to use the channels to reach the main fishing area in the centre of the lagoon. Some of the channels are man made but others are natural. All the area is full of beautiful wildlife and I was able to photograph some of the birds.
