Description

-Alright, i know its not a tank! its my last post for a while as i got a new job, so i thought id better try something a bit different. One of the first models i ever made with maya was an enigma and well... it sucked. SO i thought id try again. This time round i dug up some reference material so the model is pretty accurate. It took a weekend to model `n texture, basic maya software render (no GI/HDR etc...), it totals around 300`000 polys. comments welcome...

textures were done in photoshop + some were combined as layered textures within maya.

Nice model, well detailed and good renders, I would have gone with the four wheel Naval variant, but I'm a sucker for historical cryptography!

Superb -- touch the wood grain; smell the musty electronics ...

Stunning. Although at the top-left of the bottom-right picture there are some pieces of wood that looks like they have a brown material applied without the wood texture. That's the only thing i find peculiar on this image. Keep up the good work [thumbsup]
