I sure hope I get to be the first to tell you that I think this is pretty much the best I have ever seen from you and it is so worth the wait! David...this is beyond belief! From the trees being lit by the fantastic fire to those demons cowering back in fear to the most beautiful and angelic creature you have placed center stage. I applaud you. On a side note....you've never been a little rock to me. And this image shows the reason why.

It's been a long time coming but OMG! was this worth the wait. I've always admired your ability to create the most wonderful and imaginative scenarios but this my dear David, is downright phenomenal. Not only is she gorgeous with a devil be damned expression, but the light behind her is the perfect touch. The demons are amazing in themselves with just the right amount of terror on their evil little faces and I can't say enough about this awesome background. You have SO outdone even yourself. The eternal battle rages! Wonderfully done with your great sense of lighting and drama and a very classical looking composition. She is probably showing a lot more skin, and color, but this could have been an illustration for a morality tale from many ages. And yet when I look in her eyes, even as she holds the forces of evil at bay, I can see something else. Perhaps a little touch of evil within her, maybe just a fierce determination. She does seem to be enjoying the battle and confident of her victory her inner being radiates outwards before it encompasses the whole world.

What a wonderful image and dedication David, just wonderful!!! And it's funny, it seems like a lot of us have had to take breaks lately, and that's ok. It gives us a chance to weigh things and grow stronger in our beliefs. You are wrong to think you've let anyone down for "not keeping up with comments" none of us "friends" really care, we all get busy, we all have personal lives that we must devote time too, when we come up here we try to do what we can. No, we may not be able to comment on every image but we try to touch bases with each other as much as we can, and when it's something where one of us needs extra support or encouragement we all try to be there. As far as those individuals who wish to wreak havoc and deplete our joy, well they can only do what we allow them to do, so ignore them, friendships are MUCH stronger then their power over us. Great to see a new image from you. I'm not familiar with the events you alluded to, but it's a nice tribute regardless. I really like the feeling of power emanating from the middle figure while the two on the side seem to be reeling. Also, the lightrays being on the subtle side is a great choice. Nice work!!
