Description

First off, I'd like to dedicate this image to Lissa (OutsideTheBox) who has just recently celebrated a birthday. Remember, Art Is Good Therapy! Glad you're staying here. Secondly, this image was a PAIN in the keister to get finished. First time rendered, lighting came out beautiful, beyond anything I had imagined. Then I noticed the hand was posed wrong on the gun. So, re-render. Second time, lighting was gone, don't know what happened, just changed. Spent the next couple of renders trying to re-achieve the lighting. When I finally got the lighting to be similiar to what it was the first time, the render looked like it didn't anti-alias, very blocky. So, render again, cross fingers and this is the final product. What we do for our art. So, here it is, no postwork. Thanks for looking. Kate and Lissa morph by Outside The Box (thanks!) I hate when that happens, because lighting is everything.. :) sometimes I just fix it in post, just to keep the lighting.... Excellent pic non-the-less... :)

LOL...and they call this fun! The finished product is well worth your efforts, the lighting is right on target and the pose and POV is perfect. Love the setting. Another excellent image. Keep 'em coming.

Reminds me of the hardships I've ran into when doing freehand drawing - you get the hand just so but their eyes are crossed, etc or worse yet you want to an image over and you never can S Great job on it tho S all that hard work paid off big dividends S

Don't ya just hate that... I always run my "Delete all lights that are off" script before rendering and final positioning of lights. When running the script you can see all sorts of lights bouncing off around the scene. It looks like the image must have had an awesome red glow to it... but nonetheless... this did come out very good... ! (V)

Looks great with the better lighting but, I think the lighting needs to be a little darker. JMO

Very cool pic. Hm, after reading all the comments, it seems to me that using poser is like rolling dices. You never know what comes out.

Spectacular image, and it really sounds like when I try to create something!! LOL! This goes wrong, that gets tweaked, 15 different test renders...next thing you know a week goes by! LOL! This is just fantastic and the lighting really does compliment this wonderful character so well! Great pose with the gun and the outfit is perfect for this sci-fi scene! Also, Happy Birthday, Lissa!!! Excellent work and dedication!!
