Description

posted this hoping to receive some helpful criticism - still have all the layers saved in photoshop! been working with a great artist marcoantonio to help our talents develop marco created a wonderful render of a terrain i created - and then he let me experiment with the other elements I flipped the image horizontal in photoshop - does it look better like this or the opposite way??

is the ship too big? - would it be better if we could see more of the terrain? - is the lighting correct?

Nice work! I think your compostion works fine. If anything, maybe add a layer of atmos over the distant ship to make it look farther away. You did a good job here, this kind of intergation is difficult. As for the flipping, I like it like this, but your title at the top is backwards. :P

Fantastic result! Congrats to you both! Great style and postwork, and I love the terrain. Excellent, as is, IMO!

Very nice render & integration. I think you should try to decrease a little the contrast on the ships layers, to make the overall picture more realistic. But it's a good work !

Overall I like the effect, and the terragen surfaces are super! I agree this makes a good sci-fi cover, because the lighting is a little surreal. Excellent effort! Keep up the good work.

Thanks to Doneydonydone, I think he did a excellent job on this!!! Loved the metallic/copper look of his PW, not saying about his sky and planet!!! Loved to do a teamwork, cause it gets a different style, compared with we often do! I was wondering where would you be...It was quite a time we talked last time!!!!
