Hi ya!
I really hate writing about myself, so this will be brief! ;-)
I am addicted to Poser and use Photoshop and PSP7 for postwork.
I probably won't be popping in much during the warm weather months as I am also addicted to yard work! I will peek in when I get the chance.
I have 3 kids, four cats and no time! LOL!BIOI run a small business form my home building/fixing computers and printing.

great image, excellent compositing
Blackhearted
looks great. a suggestion - since the whole image is basically the same color/brightness, you need something to highlight her, to draw attention to where you want the viewer's eyes to focus, otherwise they wander all over the image. the best way to do this is lighting within poser - use spotlights and aim them at her upper body, and theyll cast shadows and darken the surrounding image so that the focus is on her. another way to do it is to take the image (as it is above) into photoshop and play around with the render->lighting effects filter until you create your own 'virtual spotlight' and get the right lighting/contrast. another problem with distant shots like this with non-photorealistic renders is the fact that everything looks too 'perfect' if you know what i mean. her arms look plasticcy, this is common with a lot of poser renders. after youve done the postwork with the lighting, try desaturating the image a little bit and then add the slightest amount of noise. im not talking about a lot - as you see in many gallery images. try setting the noise dial at like 1.0 or something. just a hint of noise. what it does is break up the huge blotches of perfectly even color, and gives the illusion of detail where there is none. hope this helps. great image flaxynn, keep posting.

Actually, she's supposed to look plasticy(sp?) or at least shiny, I spent a good ten minutes putting a metal highlight on ALL her skin parts (she was painted with golden dust in the movie), but I see what you mean about the rest. I was playing with my scaling (snicker!) Thanx a lot.

I love this image - this Meediate's curtain is definitely fantastic. Excellent work !

Maggie - My eyes are instantly drawn to the gorgeous statue of the cat - and in my humble opinion - that is the focal point of the whole image. It is a well known historical fact that certain hierarchy of the Egyptian echelon worshipped the feline, and one was their main god in a stable of many. The woman, who of course could have been an Egyptian Princess, but she is and should be a secondary focal point. I love the golden-bronze, smooth texture of her skin, and adore the hint of sunset through the curtain. All the colors you've used are rich, beautiful and harmonious throughout the entire rendering and make the image warm and cozy, a real feat considering the cold starkness of the statue, pillars and pedestal. Truly a masterful work of exceptional skill, with a sharp eye for subtle details. This image shall adorn my desktop.
