Description

Valencia. my home town... moved here the year I was born and still reside here. This is bridgeport. I took this pic last June at night around 9 pm. I had put other pics up from this series of a lighthouse . This summerI didn't put this particular shot up cause it was further back and didn't show the lighthouse. The is a big tree in the lighthouses way so I thought I failed with this shot. That night I was trying to learn night shooting and exposure timing with the water .. first time doing exposure /timing wotk... Now I look back on it and my waterlogged dead Nikon camera that I shot it with (sigh I do miss it so much)...., and like now like this shot for some reason - maybey the lights on the water - I dunno- with me its never technical always intuitive -go with my instincts I suppose.. or something like that blah blah blah..LOL! . SO I thought I would put it up today... `- have so many other newer shots to , Common' kimmer put me up "!! lol... Thanks for your time and comments! BIg hugs!! ♥ ~!

What a shot Kim. This one is really wonderful. The bright of lights and the darkness of the night... Perfect. Splendid work. As Pimbotin asks, do you know Valencia in Spain ? I've been there 5 summers, and the light is magical there too... I really LOVE your entire work ! VOTE for my favorite artist !

A most striking image, and the hues and setting are just amazing!! It's been many years since I have been to Valencia, and I used to visit anually to go to Magic Mountain!! It was worth the 4 hour drive! LOL! Outstanding capture!!

you did a FABULOUS job, Kimmers! you caught the water just right and the the colors and reflections are AWESOME!!! the tree in front of the lighthouse...not a problem if you ask me. That was the view...and an outstanding one at that! :)
