Description

OK, the first Poser pic I've felt brave enough to post in a looooooooong while! :) I upgraded from P4 to P6 & have been struggling with the settings (and the render times...*oh* the render times!!). Anyway, thanks to some great scripts that helped immensely and a cool character (which I morphed a little bit), I think I got something halfway realistic. I postworked the hair to fix some random strands & a stray shadow, but other than that, it's all Poser! Anyway, thanks for listening to me babble. Any comments or suggestions are more than welcome! I know there are some parts that I goofed a bit on the shadowing, but I will try, try again... Take care, Donna

Render-times on P6 just suck! Don't be afraid to post, though! This is a magnificent render! Great morphs, too! She is VERY realistic and sort of the girl next door looking. Great job!

Awesome render. It's the hair that get's any apps on time. Though, this is about the best hair I've seen in a long time.

This is very realistic, definitly more than halfway! Love the expression and the hair. As you ask for a suggestion: IMO the fake SSS could be reduced a bit and some more displacement, maybe 0.04 looks better. You can try play with specular only pointlights to get some highlights on the ears. Anyway it is an excellent render! ~Uwe
