Almost finnished Yurt. some time ago I posted pictures of wood in the proccess of being steam bent(see my gallery). This was for a Yurt(mongolian dwelling) that I was making for myself, and some here at renderosity wanted to see the final result! So here goes....I do have to sew up a few edges on my canvas but this picture gives an idea of the shape and size. I may post another picture here, to show you the inside. cheers nick

I saw how those are made on the geography channel it was very fascinating and the fact that they spend all winter in one of those in Mongolia and it is quiet comfortable,, and warm. goes to show we really didnt need all those big building. we could all live in those I would rather like it ..Thank for showing your picture
