Description

Yes, Yes our holiday mission completed!! Acores One of the reasons we went to the Acores was to watch the Whales!! It is breathe taking to see those animals and this potvis, just disappearing for 1 to 2 hours in the deep, real deep sea, half a mile or even deeper to have lunch!! I was lucky to catch this potvis, sperm whale, on my memory stick, just a mile outside the coastline of the Island of Pico, where you can find the highest mountain, volcano, of Portugal, well over 2000 meters high. Thanks for viewing my yesterdays posting, mother and child dolphin. Have a wonderful weekend Henk

Only this moment justifie a voyage to the Acores !!!! And indeed you went there for the whales. What a incredible chance to be able to cross them ! Pure moments of happiness ! It's so rare, and then it's the most beautiful gift and way to tell you "goodbye". You showed us a series of splendid photographs Henk, I really liked so much ! But it's this photograph I prefer.... Have a great week-end Henk. Hugssss

I made a trip in Monterey on a boat named "whales watching"... After 2 hours I came to the conclusion that I probably confused it with "waves watching"... It seems that you've had more luck than me... Cool shot!
