Description

Eventually it is time for a bigger hike! Acclimatisation takes some time and I feel fit to climb a little 1000 meters (3000 ft). Starting at Moosalp (2048 m, 6719 ft) I go to the Augstbordhorn (2973 m, 9754 ft). The weather is perfect and looking to the south I can see the snowcovered Dom (4545 m, 14911 ft), one of the highest mountains of Switzerland. when i see this one, Jan-Carel, i'm reminded of that self-portrait you made called "Sun-day." I love the perspective and compo here, and the mountains are spectacular!!!
