Description

This is the Lander (Freedom1) to the spaceship Explorer1 that I'm doing about the United States first manned mission to Mars. This model is drawn from scratch in Bryce5. I will be posting the entire finnished mothership and lander soon. I hope all enjoy the effort and time that was put into making this model. I try to be as scientific as possible when making this ship. The lander will enter the martian atmosphere backwards with the heatshield on the bottom of the lander entering first. Once the lander passes through the the uppermost region of the martian atmosphere the heatshield will drop away and the main thruster engines will slow the decent till the lander reaches the surface. David...:-)
