Okay... I think I've figure out a way to get it to look basically how I want it... I kind of cheated with this one... the hair on her head/face is actually VAIRESH's scalp cap, it was easier for me to figure out how the hair around her face would go with it, so I used it as a crutch until I get a little better... all the hair in the back is painted in, and I think it looks pretty good! I know the red isn't exactly natural, and doesn't match her eyebrows, but I was just trying out a different base color... BIG BIG thanks to dacort and Debbie M, who's tutorials have been HUGE helps. :) Now maybe I'll try putting something in the background too...

Looking really good Cin-...I wouldn't call using articles available cheating, I call that working smart, not hard. :) Hmmm..does that mean I cheat if I use a product as the base of my hair painting....I sure hope not LOL!!! If so, I guess I'll be cheating a long, long time :) Seriously, Cin- using the scalp cap or not, it looks really nice, I like the color of red:), you should be able to post work the color of the eyebrows if you want to change the color..it's not near as tough as painting the hair, believe me :)

The first lesson in hair, is a golf game. You have to play where you lie. Using the skull cap is a very good idea. It always serves as a reference as to where the hair starts and can possibly finnish. the brows are fine, yeah maybe a touch dark but most brows I've seen run a bit darker that the head hair.

LOL! I used cosmo hair too! :-) I think this looks wonderful - and the color is perfectly beautiful, wish Lady Clairol could do that for me!

I totally agree with everything that's been said so far, and I think your hair looks fabulous! I still can't paint decent hair from scratch, and more often than not I use the Cosmo hair as a base to work with :)
