Description

Good Sunday Morning. :))) I hope this finds you each having a most sweet morning. My weekend has been great my husband and I went to see where a friend of ours is getting ready to move and while there we got to take a ride in this 1966 Volkswagon Bug this was my first time riding in one of these and we even went four wheeling in this little cutie. Our friend Loves this car due to his grand-father had bought it brand new in 1966 for $987.00. This car runs as if it was new. Our Friend (Richard) asked me if I wanted to drive it and I said no due to the fact if something would happen to it I would have felt really bad. Today I would Love to say Thank You to Richard for taking us on so many rides because I had a ball. I know alot of you are probably thinking it doesn't take much to make Isabelle happy and really it doesn't. All I want to have is my Family, Friends, and their love. That's what makes me happy. I believe you can enjoy life just as I did and it didn't cost a thing. I wish you each a day full of Joy and Love. Sweetest of Dreams tonite. :))))) I want to say Thank You for all that has looked/commented on my images. I am also going to print a copy of Richard with his car and give it to him as a gift for he has such special memories of his grand-father and this car.

The first vehicle I owned outright back in 1975 was a '66 with a sunroof,on my site, I rebuilt the engine when it sucked its #3 exhaust valve. I also helped rebuild a 1967 type 2(microbus) engine, also on my site, and owned a type 3 (squareback) until I rolled it on a dirt road at night going too fast :(
