actually think you did quite well!!... anyone we know? i suppose if i were to offer anything in way of advice might be the lower lashes are a little heavy as well as the heavy side eye wrinkle when compared to the rest of his face... but hey! you see me posting any drawn portraits lately? lol :]

Super portrait, well done. I would suggest IMO, perhaps a bit of smudging with a tortillon or blender to blend out and smooth the definitive lines. Also when scanning sometimes you get an odd or strange shadow at the edges... here yours is yellow, I usually get a blue one and paint it out with my PSP program.. :)

Well, being the artist that I am I am humbled that you asked my opinion. LOL! Yeaah. right...I don't have a clue what a toritillion and blender is (except that thing I pull out now and then to make milkhakes) and I need a ruler to draw a straight line. From my POV it looks great. I'd be happy if I could draw PERIOD!!! VOTE

A great portrait, Vikki! Since I can't draw much more than stick figures I don't have any advice on improvements, but I'm glad to see one of your drawings again :)

I've always wished I had such talent. I've had to settle for drafting. With the help of a T-square and triangle I can sometimes manage a straight line. So I think this is wonderfully impressive. I've looked at this image very carefully to try to find what you don't like. If anything, it seems to me that (looking at the portrait) his left eye and cheek are slightly high which leads to a bit of perspective distortion. But then again, I tend to hold a camera a bit crooked, so perhaps it's just a vision problem exclusive to me. All in all, I think this portrait is deserving of a vote, and it has mine.

Ditto the lower lashes. Other than that: you've drawn circles around my abilities in this realm. Maybe some hint of a background, but dang if I can think of something appropriate. Xcelento in the Weese's book. Hmmm, almost a frontispiece for an old novel... Gatsby?
