Description

"I subject my awareness to the perfection of being, the perfection of wisdom and perfection of love, all of these being co-present in the Vast Expanse. I share this panorama of Being and appreciate all I can share it with... the seamless interweaving of consciousness with each moment. " --Alex Grey

Okay Sheila, NOW we move on from St. Augustine Beach towards the Old City. :) This expansive panorama of old St. Augustine was taken from the top of the St. Augustine lighthouse (more on that later). Most of the historic district is captured in this photo, with the Flagler college in the center and the Bridge of Lions on the right. It is undergoing a 5 year restoration during which time they will build a second bridge right next to it so they can close down the old one while working on it. The only major landmark of St. Augustine not pictured here is the fort, which is off to the right. The B & B Lisa and I stayed at is located in the historic buildings just behind the red roofed restaurant build over the water left of the center. To see a larger, more detailed version of this panorama, click HERE. It is worth a look because a lot more of the details are visible. If anyone has any questions about St. Augustine, I'd be happy to try and answer them, or you can visit the city's website HERE. On side note, a website based in St. Augustine that is updated quarterly used some of my photos. You can view the at Old City Cool. ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your freewheeling comments on yesterday's photo, St. Augustine Bikers.
