Description

I had created this for the book submission, but today got the news that there will not be one. So I decided to share it here. Being one who originally started out hand drawing and painting, I did my spin on a tribute to the old masters. This being called the Fabric of man. First I drew it out on paper then scanned it into the computer then added color and fiddled with it in CS2 till I got what I was after. The idea is that what would the Master such as Monet', Rembrant and Di Vinci do if they had compters. The idea here is that the man leaning up against the dead tree signifying the death of the old ways and then looking to his hands to the future. The whole thing is a sort of pointalism and light combo. I figured everyone entering would be doing more or less something with a 3d bent and I wanted to do something more painted like. Hope you like it and no it isn't like my usual stuff. Sorry for any typos as I have to run to work. Peace. Steve.

Wonderful picture. I like the way you've drawn it without any straight lines. The stippled effect and colour is lovely. Interesting way of using hand drawing and software, and idea about the old Masters. Thanks for sharing it:)
