Description
This is a repost of my image "Omnis mundi creatura". I couldn't fix the strange looking maple tree in the foreground (I guess this is a problem of the tree model itself), so I exchanged it with a cherry tree. While at it I added a reflection to the eyes of the character. I'm not sure if it is better than the original. What do you think?
Here is the poem on which the image is based:
Omnis mundi creatura
quasi liber et pictura
nobis est in speculum;
nostrae vite, nostrae mortis,
nostri status, nostrae sortis
fidele signaculum.
Poem by Alain de Lille.
Translation:
All the world's creatures,
as a book and a picture,
are to us as a mirror;
our life, our death,
our present condition, our passing
are faithfully signified.
Thanks for looking! Please tell me your opinion!

Beautiful concept - very well realized. Her clothes and textures look very realistic.
