Description

Yesterday at work, I was talking to a friend, probably about Internet troubles (LOL), when out of the blue, he mentions that there's been a little kitty hanging around his house ... "Since Friday". (3 days) He went on to tell me how he didn't dare feed it, for fear it would hang around. (He and his wife have 2 poodles as it is) So, I asked if he ever fed the kitty, and he said no. Oh Gawd. I asked if he plans on going home for lunch and he said yes ... I asked if he could PLEASE bring the kitty back to work with him -- I would take him home on MY lunch hour. Well as you can see, that's what we did. :) He brought this sweet kitty back to the office, in a box about 20 times his size lol and taped up as if there was a wild animal inside. As I drove home (shaking with excitement *S*), I talked to him, and tried taking some of the tape off that was put across a hole there so he couldn't look out. Finally I got the tape off -- and suddenly this little tan arm comes out. Then a little nose...then his little eyes !!!! Oh God, I said Shari, stay on the road !!!! I told him how beautiful he is, and that food and water (milk *S*) is on the way. I gave him his own room - and gave him 9-Lives and a little milk .. and his own make-shift litter box and knew he would love his private little space. Do you realize how hard it was to go back to work???? This kitty is sooooooooooooo loveable. It can't meow!!?? Ever heard of that?? His purr is so little, too ... I'm not in love, I'm not in love, I'm not in Love, I'm not in love, SO DONT FORGET IT.. (lol) I'm pulling a Zacko here (blah blah blah ) *LOL* So, better shut up so I have room to up load my picture. Meet "Leo". :)

I heard that cats in the wild do not "meow" it is only through contact with humans that they will make noise. Keep talking to your kitty. Eventually it should talk back. Our older cat taught our new kitten how to meow! LOL

So glad your story had a happy ending. Two of my three felines were strays and they are so affectionate it makes me wonder why anyone would abandon them. Leo is a real cutie, I'm sure your kindness will be rewarded: Pappy, Blade, and Wishbone all agree.
